Football Analyst Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Murs in Premier League Forecasts

Arsenal's ten-match victorious streak came to an end by the Black Cats before the global hiatus, however will the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against local foes Tottenham this Sunday?

"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," stated football specialist Chris Sutton.

"The Spurs manager will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still manage to win."

Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, versus AI, readers and a variety of special visitors.

For the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.

The singer's new album, the new release, is out on the weekend.

Football and Parenting Experiences

Olly is a talented footballer as well as a successful artist and has been a featured player of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not planning a professional comeback as a footballer.

"{I recently played in a charity game the other night for a mate of mine," he said. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!

"I continue to love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it properly again.

"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or son chooses to play instead."

Murs and his wife his partner have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.

"I will not push football on our children but I've previously told Amelia that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their weekend soccer side," he added.

"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a period too.

"My dad coached with us when I was a child, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our team for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

Premier League Forecasts

Saturday, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their offense is already stronger with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.

In my opinion this fixture will be quite tight, however. Burnley are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor losses so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.

This smells of a one-all tie to me, but I am in fact going to choose the London side to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.

The expert's prediction: 1-2

Olly's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have lost their previous couple games - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.

On the other hand, West Ham won two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they do look competitive again.

The Hammers' only away win this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still Forest manager.

So, what exactly do I predict here - will it be the Hammers continuing their streak under Nuno, or the home side bouncing back?

I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Villa was a blip.

The pundit's forecast: 2-0

Olly's prediction: Bournemouth are performing strongly but West Ham have improved under their boss. 2-2

AI's prediction: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Bees were considered one of the frontrunners for the drop before the season started, but they have impressed a few observers under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three in their past four games.

My son advised me to select Bees striker Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.

Thiago will likely find the net again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support the away side at Brighton's ground.

The Bees have not had great success on the road this term, and Brighton are always strong at their stadium. The visitors will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a danger.

The analyst's prediction: 2-1

The singer's prediction: This could be a match where you think there is going to be a lot of goals but it actually proves to be rather close. 1-1

AI's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

This is a massive game for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six games.

They have have plenty of talent in their squad but it nonetheless feels like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.

Regarding the Black Cats, well they are the surprise package of the top flight season so far.

Their display in the two-all draw with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We have not seen any other team disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.

The logical choice to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the last time they were in west London, they beat the Blues at the close of last month.

But I am not going to do that. Rather, I truly need to continue going against Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their good results because they clearly love to prove me wrong.

Considering Fulham's at Craven Cottage form, the sole team they have lost to is the league leaders. Their manager's side will be absolutely desperate for a positive result, so I am going to predict they will pick up three points.

Sutton's prediction: 1-0

The guest's choice: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and additionally that the hosts are on a bad run... but Fulham have nonetheless been respectable at home this season. 2-0

AI's outlook: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a tough fixture to call. Liverpool have suffered seven of their past 10 matches in every tournament, but could they be among the sides who profit from the {international break|
