Renowned Actor The actor Pat Finn, Known For Appearances in The Middle and Friends, Dies at the Age of Sixty.
American performer Pat Finn, who featured in beloved programs such as Friends, "Seinfeld" and The Middle, has passed away at 60 years old.
The skilled improv artist passed away at his residence in Los Angeles, California on Monday following treatment for cancer since 2022, according to news outlets.
"Pat considered no one a stranger - solely future friends he hadn't encountered," his family said in a announcement.
They added that he had "experienced life to the fullest - with zest and passion".
A Prolific Career on Screen
Finn's first television role was in the George Wendt Show in the mid-90s, where he portrayed the titular character's brother.
He subsequently landed a regular part on Murphy Brown from 1995 to 1997.
He appeared as the character Joe Mayo in Seinfeld in the late 90s, playing a social organizer famous for delegating tedious tasks to his guests.
During the end of the 90s and start of the 2000s, he had guest spots on numerous well-known programs, like:

- Friends
- "That '70s Show"
- House, M.D.
Finn was perhaps best known for portraying Bill Norwood in "The Middle", appearing throughout eight seasons of the show between 2011 and 2018.

Off-Screen Life
Beyond his television work, Finn was an improv performer and also taught at the Colorado university, where he was a professor.
He was part of a six-person improv troupe known as Beer Shark Mice.
"He taught, supported, and inspired countless students over the years and it's nearly impossible to find a person anyplace who has anything negative to say about him," his family wrote.
Offering condolences, colleague and actor Richard Kind said there was "no kinder, gentler, funnier, down to earth person you could encounter".
"Consistently upbeat, helping you be funnier and better. An excellent dad and person," he posted on social media.
Pat Finn is survived by his spouse Donna, three children, and his parents and siblings.
