Three Named as Finalists for Young Sports Personality Prize

Lionesses forward Michelle Agyemang, darts prodigy Luke Littler and cricket star Davina Perrin have been named as finalists for the this year's Young Sports Personality of the Year award.
The trio have been celebrated for their exceptional achievements over the past 12 months.
Agyemang helped the Lionesses claim victory in Euro 2025, Littler claimed the world title for the first time, and Perrin burst onto the scene with a historic innings.
Littler won the award in 2024 after his sensational debut year.
The three contenders were revealed during a live broadcast on a widely-listened-to radio show.
The 2025 recipient will be announced during a live broadcast on the prestigious sports ceremony show on the 18th of December.
The ceremony will be broadcast from seven in the evening GMT.
The Football Star

A mere three months after her first cap for her country, Agyemang played a dramatic and decisive role in England's run to European Championship victory.
She was introduced as a substitute to score key tying goals in both the quarter-final and semi-final.
Agyemang's stunning interventions led to her being named the tournament's top young talent.
Subsequently, she was awarded the Golden Girl award for the top young European talent.
She was also nominated for the Kopa Trophy for the world's best under-21 female player.
Agyemang, who has been playing for Brighton on loan from Arsenal, ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament in October.
"Being nominated for this award is an honour," said Agyemang. "I thank God and I'm thankful for the support I've received from my family, coaches, team-mates and fans."
The Darts Prodigy

Littler kicked off the year in spectacular fashion as - aged 17 - he became the most youthful world title winner in history.
He secured a commanding win over Michael van Gerwen in the final.
His subsequent victory at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth individual to complete the prestigious three major tournament wins.
And he wasn't finished there - his win in November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he climbed to world number one for the very first time.
At 18, he is the earliest achiever to do so, smashing the previous record.
"Earning a spot on the shortlist for this award again is a big honour," stated Littler. "Last year's win was a special memory for me and I've had another amazing 12 months. I want to continue elevating darts."
Davina Perrin
Age: 19 Sport: Cricket
Perrin is one of English cricket's most exciting young talents and burst into the spotlight with an extraordinary and record-breaking innings in August.
Her magnificent 42-ball century in The Hundred is the speediest century from an England batswoman in T20s.
It also stands as the equal third-quickest women's T20 century in a top-tier competition.
Perrin ended up as runner-up in the batting rankings and was named PCA Women's Young Player of the Year.
"I'm truly honoured to be nominated for the Young Sports Personality of the Year award," expressed Perrin. "It's a very special feeling. I hope it inspires more young women to get into cricket."
